Thinking of moving to Palmdale California,help!?

I live in NYC. And need some info on Palmdale.
Please answer the following. Thanks alot for the help. I will give you 10 pts also.
1. How is West palmdale. What is the ethnicity there. Is there alot of Whites, black or hispanics there. Please give a appromiaxate number .

2.What areas or streets should you stay away from in west palmdale?

3. I saw a home on this street forsale online....how is 548 Morningstar Terrace Av. ? 93551 area. What is it like there

4. Also how is the 38588 9th street east block . I saw a place there to. Is it safe. What is it like there


Please help and be specific on how these neighborhoods are.

Palmdale is a community in the Mojave Desert. Summers there are usually extremely hot, and winter mornings are cold. Although technically part of Los Angeles County it, and it's adjoining city of Lancaster, are rather isolated from the rest of L.A. by the San Gabriel Mountains. The 60(ish) mile commute to the L.A. basin, where the jobs are, can be a nightmare.There are some nicer parts of Palmdale, but it also has several high crime areas. It would be a COMPLETE change from life in NYC. As others have said, you really can't by real estate on the computer, you have to actually see what you're getting.

It's always important that you see a place before deciding that it's a great move or not, because someone else's opinion on Palmdale may not be same as yours when you take their word.

You really have to avoid buying your home based on an online sales presentation. Invest in the airfare to come see palmdale.
