Have teenage daughters who will be with me in late March in LA. Looking for funky shops with reasonable prices. Especially looking for clothing and accessories. Also want to try local diners.
Thanks!

where in la are you? melrose has great shops for all price ranges. thats my personal fav. instead of diners, LA has some awesome delis, Art's, cantor's, greenblatt's, jerry's famous(many open 24 hours, and good for celeb sightings) nate and al's, mort's.....pretty much anything that has a Jewish man's name is going to be a fabulous eating experience.

Haha Jewish man's name!

I agree with the person above me, Melrose is a fabulous shopping promenade. You can find good vintage shops like Aaarvarks, my personal favorite and also eccentric shops like Shrine which is a goth-esque shop. Also you'll find there're a bunch of little overpriced boutiques where you can fine everything that's trendy. You don't ever buy things in these boutiques (unless you've money to burn, I don't). You simply browse and then go to the Fashion District and buy similar clothing for usually 1/10th the cost at the trendy boutiques.

Hope I've helped you in some way.

=)

Happy shopping.

Studio city close to Vineland Ave and Ventura Bl, there are various residences tucked away on the streets around there. the superb thank you to locate them is by using driving around. Toluca Lake and Burbank are different nicer aspects, yet like everywhere in l. a., you relatively ought to look on the particular community, by way of fact even a brilliant style of the main costly aspects have sketchy neighborhoods. be careful with North Hollywood, fairly some tough neighborhoods, comparable factor for Hollywood.
