It's all up to you. You can choose to have fun, or have a cr@ppy attitude and roll your eyes. You get out of it what you put into it.

What exactly were you expecting? This is actually a pretty good itinerary. I have people posting questions in this forum about FIDM all the time.

Getty Villa: LOTS of Roman and Greek artifacts. It should be at least a little amazing to see something that existed in a civilization from 3000 years ago.

Grammy Museum: Who doesn't like music? You can find a favorite artist, or find someone who influenced a favorite artist.

FIDM: Ever since the Hills, there has been a lot of interest in this place. Even if you don't think you are going to get into Fashion, this place teaches the Business of Fashion, so you could learn something.

Universal Studios: That's fun, right?

Cathedral: GREAT architecture. As someone from SF, you can appreciate architecture, right?

Walt Disney Concert Hall: Also an architectural and acoustical marvel. Hopefully you'll see a show.

Stella Adler: Maybe you don't want to be an actor, but you can learn something about the business that most people don't know about.

Hollywood & Highland: This is actually a very fun place. Up on the 3rd level, you can see the Hollywood sign. Have lunch at uWink, it's fun.

USC: For those who might want to go to college. Nice campus, crappy neighborhood.

Sounds like a fun trip. Beats being in school!

Wow that sounds really great! I live in LA and haven't been to all those places, the whale watching alone is worth the trip. People come to Avila Beach from all over the world and use their life savings at the opportunity to watch whales. You are really lucky and should be more positive. The Getty Villa and Disney concert hall are beautiful landmarks world famous, I am shocked you are complaining! My school never went on such trips. It's not like you can expect a school to take you clubbing.

It is all good, the J Paul Getty museum is awesome! The collection of art that one man amassed absolutely awesome. All of these things are good, it is a school trip, so you get the educational, not the Disneyland, or Knotts Amusement parks, another trip you can make later. Have fun and be safe !

i individually could be plenty extra involved in spending extra time on the park and getting my funds's well worth rather than tanning by the pool or on the sea coast. yet, this is merely me...i'm this style of individual who likes to be waiting to do each little thing at Disneyland as quickly as we are there. Day 3 sounds ok, this is excellent to bypass to the sea coast, yet i don't be conscious of approximately Day 2. i individually does no longer sense like going all the previously to the motel just to place out by the pool. Going returned to the motel interior the afternoon if for families with sons and daughters who choose for an afternoon nap. Are you attempting to keep away from the long afternoon traces? if so, we merely went final week, and it particularly wasn't that undesirable. interior the afternoon, we additionally had to keep away from the long traces, so we did different issues interior the park: we used the quick passes we stored up for while the traces have been long, we shopped, had pineapple whips on the tiki room, did Innoventions, Tom Sawyer's Island, Captain EO (all the factors of interest without long traces). The afternoon flies by exceptionally rapid.

When you go to FIDM, go to the little store they have! They have really cheap jewelry and clothes, like necklaces for 1 or 2 dollars. It's right there on the corner of the campus, hopefully your school will let you guys go in. It sounds like a really rushed trip with tons of stuff to do everyday so it might be tiring and you might get sick of it, but that's how school trips go, right?

funny story: I went on a school trip to SF and we went to Alcatraz (of course), Pier 39, whale watching, Jelly Belly factory in Fairfield, and then on to Monterey. So obviously I didn't get to see much. Come back to LA someday on your own so you can see all the stuff you miss!

That all sounds good besides the color purple, That crap was painful. and when at Universal Studious a studio tour is cool. I liked the WB tour in burbank. Just remember LA isn't really in one place, it is very spread out.
