People who live in Palmdale, please answer these questions?!!?

ok I am moving to palmdale from Los Angeles this week for a temporarly moment, 1-2 months, is i dangerous there in palmdale any gangs robbers,etc. I have a dog that I am going to leave alone in the house, but I am scared that someone will rob him in the house, is it safe to leave him outside or inside, can anyone steal him? I am leaving him for 2 hours and coming back, but I am scared that someone steals him or worst kills him. Also when I have to call the police from my cell phone thats the area in Los Angeles, does it call the police in LA or in Palmdale, and is it snowing there right now, or when does it snow, and should I leave my dog outside without worrying, or what? please answer ten points to one who answers.

Palmdale is COLD in the Winter and you need to keep your dog indoors. Yes, it can and on occasion will snow there, but it usually melts away by the afternoon. If you leave your dog roam the neighborhood it will most likely become Coyote food. YES, there is some gang activity there, but the criminal activity in the Palmdale/Lancaster area is more known for Marijuana growing, and Meth labs. Palmdale is patrolled by the Sheriff's Department,

Steven you do not sound mature enough to move anywhere. The ties to your dog and where your 911 calls are going to be routed tell me that, You sound paranoid.



Settle down inside. Gain some personal confidence and take control of your life. Do some due diligence on the neighborhood you are moving into. Maybe call the Palmdale Police Dept. and ask some actual questions that will avert your fears and concerns. Every city has good and bad areas. Their stats will suggest where you should live.



You seem to be dwelling on the bad stuff. Look at the good side. You have a new job, in a new place and get to make a new start. What could be better? You will be fine.

Palmdale is like any other city, it has it's good parts and bad parts, and you would have to leave your dog inside since it's too damn cold outside during the winter in Palmdale

so any 911 calls will go to the station

unless you are a near or on a freeway then they usually routed to CHP answering center

will transfer the call...
